Rutherford County was represented at an important gathering for Tennessee's workforce community. 🤝

Our SVP, Kaitlin Salyer, was invited to attend the inaugural Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development WorkSource Summit. This new statewide conference brought together leaders from business, education, workforce development, public policy, and economic development to focus on a common priority: strengthening Tennessee’s talent pipeline to better support industry needs.

Throughout the two-day event, participants explored topics including apprenticeships, micro-credentials, Workforce Pell, and emerging work-based learning initiatives shaping Tennessee’s workforce landscape. Presenters also discussed strategies that help keep the state nationally competitive.
