October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. This is the final week of October, but it’s NEVER too late to promote awareness. The substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is joining with other agencies to promote the hashtag , which encourages EVERYONE to do just one thing to raise awareness about domestic violence. Let’s close the week out by doing, sharing, contributing 1 thing on your individual pages to spread awareness (Don’t forget the hashtag ). Remember We are stronger together❤️

October is ADHD Awareness Month
Did you know…females often go undiagnosed or get misdiagnosed with anxiety or depression (though ADHD symptoms CAN contribute to someone being anxious or depressed)
Because girls’ symptoms are often more subtle (I.e difficulty focusing and concentrating, procrastination, flighty), it often goes unnoticed and they suffer in silence. While many boys have the inattentive part, they are also more likely to exhibit hyperactivity, being disruptive, “rough” or aggressive behavior, and have difficulty regulating. This, of course, calls for action because it affects others. THIS is the picture most of us have, but it is incomplete. Stay tuned for more information.

PFT was able to make a $15,000 donation to Rcac Deltas as a result of our fundraising efforts! These funds will be used in this community to support scholarships and programs like physical and mental health just to name a few!
