A slight change in our schedule for EmpowHER brings exciting news - we are absolutely thrilled to welcome the incredible Kalisha Gaines as our Keynote speaker for the event on Saturday! ✨ As the Founder and Executive Director of Diamond Youth Development, Kalisha's remarkable work directly aligns with the mission of EmpowHER: to equip young girls with essential life skills through programming that fosters self-awareness, leadership development, and confidence building. Her passion for empowering youth is truly inspiring, and we can't wait to hear her share her valuable insights and experiences with our participants. With her extensive background in youth development, Kalisha has made a significant impact in the lives of countless young people, and we're honored to have her on board. In the spirit of EmpowHER, our members spent the weekend participating in the Discovery Center’s STEAM-A-Palooza! JLM hosted a booth focused on exploring the incredible contributions of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Art - both locally and internationally known, including several of our own members who represent these fields. Participants were encouraged to visualize their own futures, explore individual goals, and create affirmations that empower them to dream big and believe in what they can achieve. We look forward to continuing this work in inspiring the next generation of innovators, creators, and leaders at our event on Saturday!🩷⚡️
