Our Fall Fling is just one week away. Saturday, October 17 from 1PM to 5PM at The Freedom Players Youth Theatre Group Stage located at 510 South Everette Street, Ahoskie, NC. Free and open to the public. All are welcome! Volunteers and donations are welcome. In partnership with Sage and Sweetgrass at the Bradshaw House Inc. Music, crafts, games, bingo, raffles, face painting, cake walk, pumpkin decorating, giveaways, food available for purchase (hot dog, beans, chips, drink, dessert, $10). Fun for the whole family. I guess yall heard there is a hurricane or tropical storm coming towards the states (if you havent, it is, and its name is Isaias) so I thought id share some hurricane preparedness tips.

How to prepare for a hurricane:

Step one: Get pumpkins.

Step two: Gather friends and family to carve said pumpkins and roast the seeds.

Step three: Insert candles and you have ready made lanterns for when the power goes out and snacks that dont require refrigeration.
