🎥 Introducing: Building a Better Game Together

Tennessee State Soccer Association (TSSA) and the Tennessee State Referee Program (TSRP) have teamed up for a new video series focused on the people, policies and conversations shaping refereeing across Tennessee.

⚽ EPISODE #1: WHO ARE WE?

We kick off the series with the Executive Director, Hans Hobson and the State Referee Administrator, Don Eubank discussing our partnership and how we're working together to strengthen the game across Tennessee.

Upcoming episodes will tackle everything from becoming a referee and understanding the Laws of the Game to U.S. Soccer's Referee Abuse Prevention (RAP) Policy and more.

🚨Coaching Course: National-D🚨
📚 Blended Course
📅 Sept. 22 - Nov. 20, 2026
📍Chattanooga, Tennessee

The U.S. Soccer D License hosted by Tennessee State Soccer Association is an online and in-person course.

This blended format combines an online experience, assignments, small group meetings, independent learning, and in-person meeting.

Eligibility Requirements:

To register for the U.S. Soccer D course, all applicants must meet the following prerequisites:

• At least 18 years of age
• Currently coaching or have access to a team U6-U12
• Have completed Introduction to Grassroots Coaching
• Have completed Two (2) GR IP courses and one (1) GR OL course
or
• Have completed Introduction to Grassroots Coaching
• Previously Earned USSF E License
or
• Have completed Introduction to Grassroots Coaching
• Previously Earned USSF F License
• Two (2) Additional Grassroots In-Person (4v4, 7v7, or 9v9)
