Munster Indiana VFW Post 2697 To gather Veteran's for community events. To pay back the people that supported us in wartime and support the community in various ways. at the Town Hall.

We meet every third Thursday at 7pm.

We had our annual awards ceremony last Thursday. For the Teacher of the year we had three winners from the Munster Schools.: Brian Ayersman, Charles Bais and Kristan Szafasz. The Voice of Democracy winner was a Lake Central student. Leah Jones. The awards were presented by our VFW Commander, Joe Garcia.
