💥 💥 💥 Big news for the Upper Peninsula outdoor community! 💥💥💥

Upper Peninsula Outdoor Alliance is officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.🌲🌲🌲

This is a huge step forward for protecting access, supporting outdoor recreation, strengthening partnerships, and building a louder voice for the places we all love.

We are also building a new membership platform so supporters will soon be able to join, donate, and help fuel the future of outdoor recreation across the U.P.

This is just the beginning.

The trails, waters, forests, riders, hikers, paddlers, hunters, anglers, businesses, and communities of the Upper Peninsula deserve strong representation — and we are ready to get to work.

Stay tuned. Big things are coming.

Upper Peninsula Outdoor Alliance
One U.P. One outdoor voice.

🇺🇸🔥 Veteran-Owned Spotlight: Jason Denman & Denman Hardware! 🔥🇺🇸

Today we’re fired up to recognize Jason Denman, owner of Denman's Hardware — a locally owned, veteran-owned business and community staple since 1945!

Jason served in the Army National Guard from 1997–2016 and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom / Operation Enduring Freedom. His family’s legacy of service runs deep — Denman Hardware was started by his grandfather John “Jack” Denman, a WWII veteran, carried on by his father James Denman, and is now led by Jason.

Jason continues to serve through his work in the community, including the American Legion Post 131 board, Ducks Unlimited, Whitetail board, and the Munising 4th of July Committee. He’s also an avid sportsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and helping locals learn safe firearm handling.

Let’s show Jason and Denman Hardware some love! 🇺🇸👏

Their combined commitment exemplifies the highest standards of public service, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents through tireless efforts in law enforcement, emergency response, and community engagement.
