Explore The Big Empty Along with our non-profit corporation, Friends of The Big Empty, we are working to bring together the people, places, and sights to see. Anyone can participate.

Who We Are
The purpose of Explore The Big Empty is to educate the public about the history, heritage and availability for tourism of public and private resources within counties of Texas known as "The Big Empty". Our Goal
The means of providing such education includes publishing https://friendsofthebigempty.org/, https://explorethebigempty.com/ and printed materials, educational meetings, and pub

lic speaking opportunities. We recently added the page to help spread the word on events and activities. We are inviting the Empty's residents to join our effort to make the Empty the destination of tourism in all the counties involved, through good photography and narrative, places to visit, events, etc. We are interested in receiving photos with narratives by those who have an interest in furthering the scope of this tourism effort.
