[TIME CHANGE!] our self defense class has been pushed back to 4pm this Saturday!

Join us for another session of our self defense workshop led by Brazilian Jujutsu artist Jared Loper!

This event is intended to honor and embody the Black August principle of TRAIN. Self-defense has a long legacy within left radical traditions and should be understood as a portal towards autonomy, self-determination and liberation.

As we enter Red Week here at Ball State University, it is critical that we disperse this information and equip students with skills to defend themselves against sexual violence and aggressors.

This is a free, hands-on event where attendees will be trained in basic self-defense skills and will walk away more competent and confident in their ability to defend themselves and their community.

🚨SUPPORT NEEDED🚨

The state has once again failed working people. The recent storms across the state, no doubt exacerbated by climate change, has set records for the amount of flooding and destruction. Yet the state is failing to provide the much need relief, which means it’s up to us—the people—to support each other through these tough times.

All proceeds from our upcoming concert will be donated to flood relief. Please share and give whatever you can!

Learn about his case and how he became a target of the FBI and local police as retaliation for his journalism and political activism.

Then moving into the next week we’ll be watching a documentary about the Black Panther Party and how they became a target of the FBI’s infamous COINTELPRO program which surveilled, killed, and imprisoned many of their members.
