🌟 Bright Future’s Academy is Back! 🌟

Empowering Tomorrow’s Caregivers, Today! 💚

Ivy Tech Community College’s Early Childhood Education Department is offering a FREE summer program for students ages 9–14 who are interested in caring for young children and exploring future careers in caregiving and early childhood education.

Participants will receive:
🩹 Pediatric First Aid & CPR training
👶 Safe Sitter Certification®
🎒 Hands-on caregiving skills and activities
🍎 Daily lunch, snacks, and supplies included
🎁 A backpack filled with babysitting supplies for students who complete all five days!

What an incredible weekend at the INAEYC Annual Conference! 🌟

Team members from TRAC and Muncie & Delaware County BY5 Early Childhood Initiative, along with our very own .natalie representing Blackford County, and everyone representing ECI—headed down to the Indiana Convention Center in Indy to connect, learn, and celebrate the amazing early childhood education community.

We left feeling incredibly inspired and ready to bring all of this fresh energy back to support our local providers, educators, and families! 🎒✏️🧒

We had a fantastic time on Saturday, April 11th, at our TRAC program Safe Sitter class at the Love Community Center in Rushville, IN! A big shoutout to the 8 amazing teenage girls who spent their Saturday learning vital child care, safety, and CPR skills.

A special thank you to our wonderful instructor, Trish Mastin, for leading such a great class and helping equip our community’s youth with the confidence to be safe, responsible sitters. Great job, everyone!
