A sincere departure...

East Central Indiana Social Media Group first gathered in January 2012. For a decade, participants networked and learned together about emerging trends in social media. We've had updates on the State of Social Media. We've learned to tell great stories, organize our content, and measure performance. We've heard from industry experts and self-taught peers. From Facebook's infancy to Tik Tok's revolution, ECI SMG has covered it all. Just as social media has changed over the last ten years, so has the ECI SMG steering committee.
It is with great sadness that the ECI SMG steering committee announces the retirement of ECI SMG. We did not know it at that time, but the final meeting of ECI SMG was held virtually on January 20. There will be no further meetings of this group.
We are so grateful to the many attendees, speakers, and friends we have made over the year. We know that social media continues to be an important part of business marketing and personal interaction. We hope you will find resources and opportunities to continue to grow and develop in this area. We look forward to connecting with you personally on your favorite social media channel.
