If you love the home tours during festival, join us this weekend to see 7 homes beautifully decorated for the holidays. Today from 4-8pm and tomorrow from 1-5pm.

Holiday home tours begin at 715 E. Washington St. Tour a selection of the victorian homes in the East Central Neighborhood.

We have two exciting tour options at the festival this year!
The self-guided Home Tour includes 4 historic homes along the E Washington St festival grounds plus hourly guided tours of Cornerstone Center for the Arts. Come see the impressive stained-glass windows, famous murals, majestic front porches, period furnishings, and gleaming old-growth woodwork. Take your time and step back in time to an era when the “East End” was the preferred residential neighborhood for Muncie elites and industrialists. Home Tour tickets are $15 and run noon to 5PM.

But wait, there’s more! We also have a guided Walking Tour again this year. These tours leave on the hour noon to 4PM from the corner of N Vine St and E Washington St near the festival info booth. Expert guides will take you on a 30-40 min walk that covers about ½ mile of the Emily Kimbrough Historic District. Come see the largest collection of Victorian-era home styles in Muncie’s only local historic district. Learn about how 19th century urban planning differed from residential neighborhoods we build today. Walk on the old bluestone and brick herringbone sidewalks. See preservation efforts in action from pristinely restored homes to homes in the early stages of being saved. Walking Tour tickets are $15 and run noon to 4PM.
