Our Youth Basketball Skills & Scrimmage program is back this fall — giving young players the chance to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and have a whole lot of fun along the way!

Participants will start each session by practicing the fundamentals of basketball before putting those skills to work in fast-paced 3-on-3 scrimmages with players their own age. It’s the perfect combination of learning, movement, teamwork, and play!

Aquatics Center Closure Update

We want to provide our members with a transparent update regarding the Aquatics Center.

Due to the recent flooding, the pool circulation pumps sustained water exposure and possible damage. As a result, the Aquatics Center will remain closed until further notice.

At this time, we do not yet know the full extent of the damage or how long the closure will last. The pumps must first be allowed to completely dry before they can be properly assessed. Once that assessment is complete, we will be able to determine whether the pumps can be rebuilt or if they will need to be replaced.

We have already met with our insurance representatives and are gathering quotes for both repair and replacement so we can move forward as quickly as possible once we know the best course of action.

We know this uncertainty is frustrating, and we wish we could give you a firm reopening date. The truth is, we simply don’t have enough information yet to do that responsibly. Rather than speculate, we want to be open with you about where things stand and keep you updated as we learn more.

Please know that our team is working diligently to get the Aquatics Center safely reopened as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of the YMCA. We will share additional updates as soon as we have new information.
