Hello Mulvane Community!

Planning for the 2026 Mulvane Old Settlers has officially kicked off with our official theme “Stars, Stripes & Small Town Nights”!

(Fun Fact- Brittany Renae Kruger and Robin Bennett-Williams both turned in the exact same theme-Congratulations to both winners 🏅)

With that, we need a logo! The logo design is open to the citizens of Mulvane to submit up to 3 drawings each (✅ you don’t have to submit 3, but you can’t do more than 3). Like previous years, we’ll have two age divisions, school-aged (0-18) and adult (18+ ).

✨The logo drawing has a few requirements ✨

- Needs to incorporate the theme

- Hand drawn and not computer generated, with no shading or coloring

- Drawn with black ink on a white sheet of paper, within a five-inch circle

- Needs to say “Mulvane Old Settlers”, this year’s dates (Aug 20-23 or Aug 20, 21, 22, 23), the year 2026), and the theme (Stars, Stripes & Small Town Nights)

- REMEMBER- the drawing must also be shrunk down to fit within two-inch button 😊

The committee will choose 1 winner from the youth and 1 from the adult divisions and then select an overall winning design. The winning design artist will receive $150 while the runner-up receives $100. The winning design will also be featured on the t-shirts, advertising booklet, and buttons.

Please submit drawings to either The Mulvane News (hard copy drawing) or scanned and emailed to our Old Settlers Secretary, Tyan Rorabaugh at [email protected].

Please list your name, contact information, and whether youth or adult on the back of the hard copy or in the email to Tyan Rorabaugh

Deadline for receiving drawing entries is Monday, Monday, March 23, 2026

GOOD LUCK 🍀🤞🏼🍀

Congratulations!

Well, guys...the main medallion has already been found. Congrats to Stephanie Jones!

The plan for this year was to give 4 clues for places in town and then reveal that a map was needed and "x" marks the spot. So I'm going to post each clue through the rest of the day to give time for GIFS and for y'all to guess where each clue pointed. Don't forget to get your pictures posted! Thanks for participating and having fun with us!
