My mealworm and Dubia co-op colony are doing fantastic.
The minute I dropped this in, the entire enclosure came to life with rustling of the egg creates and substrate to feast on the greens I have given

Such a goof! But a good boy and very intelligent.

He's figuring out how easy it is to open a sliding door.

Hello everyone!

Please be mindful of scammers when looking to buy your reptile or reptile supplies

There is no shortage of those around our community and they have no fear of being caught. Their also easy to find too.

I've had to go and block 9 followers this morning as one was brought to my attention using a picture of mine. As I went I followed his string and blocked several others.

Use caution everyone!

Interesting things I have learned today.

One is a fact and one is a theory.

Fact: mealworms eat plastic and Styrofoam and convert this subsidence into a kind of alcohol. Which seems to be edible.

Theory: the reptile hobby might have stumbled onto a way to biologically reduce the foot print of plastics and Styrofoam we have in our landfills.

I want to test this theory.

I caught this gorgeous Ring-snake today.
Full of sass too

What I found weird but interesting was at the tip of its tail; a pointy end?
It used it to try and stab me multiple times. Felt like the end tip of a fork, but did not break skin.

I was thinking regrown skin over bone? But the way it was using it was making me think otherwise.
Very odd behavior from this species since I find them all the time and have never seen this, nor this kind of behavior with its tail before.

I did release after a couple of snaps
