We hope to see you all tonight. There will be s'mores and hot chocolate down at the Village Tree Lighting!

This Friday, our rescheduled Lighted Parade will take place. The parade participants will gather at the High School at 5:00 pm, and the procession will start at 5:30. The parade will end at the Village Tree Lighting ceremony, which is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.

A huge thank you to everyone that braved the weather to celebrate Small Business Saturday with us! We can control a lot of things for our event, but the weather will never be one of them! There are so many on my list to thank for keeping this event alive today, but the top of the list is our Village crew for maintaining the roads the way they did! I hope everyone had a good time today. As always we strive to make each years event better than the last! So here's to next year's Moweaqua Christmas on Main, but with hopes of less snow!
We will post an update with a day for the postponed lighted parade and tree lighting in the next few days.

Please give us a couple days to recoup from today!

We are actively tracking the weather forecast for this weekend, along with the rest of the community. We remain optimistic that the forecast will change. It is important to note that all vendor locations are indoors, and the event can go ahead as planned, regardless of the weather. However, we take the safety and well-being of our vendors and patrons very seriously. As it stands, the event will continue as scheduled. For vendors who may be concerned about traveling long distances, we are happy to provide a full refund of their vendor fee.

How does a Moweaqua Christmas on Main in July sound next year?! It would sure save me from extra grey hairs! 😂

Don't Miss the Lighted Parade!

Remember to join us for the lighted parade! The lineup will begin at 5:00 PM at the High School, with the parade starting at 5:30 PM. We invite you to decorate your golf cart, side-by-side, jeep, truck, car, or even bicycle with as many lights as possible.

There will be a prize for the best decoration!

Meet us at the Village Tree when the parade hits the end of Main St st and Wall St for the tree lighting!

Last year, we celebrated our very first lighted parade, and we were delighted by the turnout. Let’s continue the magic and aim to make this captivating finale to a wonderful day even more spectacular! What do you intend to decorate this year?
