Today is the day! Hope to see you there!

I am taking the Woodbury County Government on the road! Please mark your calendars for Thursday March 5th at the Anthon Event Center. Woodbury County Supervisors, Department Heads, and other Elected Officials from the county as well as the City of Anthon will be on hand to do Q&A as well as provide updates about what is going on in the county.

Anthon Community Development Corporation is lining up a tour of main-street businesses to showcase what’s going on in town prior to the town hall starting. After the town hall many elected officials and staff are planning on having supper at the Fireside(everyone is responsible for their own food/drinks). Anyone who would like to join is welcome! This will provide an opportunity to socialize and talk more about the issues facing Woodbury County.

Woodbury County Farm Bureau President Daniel Hair accepted the County Award of Excellence at the 2025 Annual Meeting. The County Award of Excellence recognizes county Farm Bureaus that conduct volunteer-based activities focusing on the program areas of membership, policy, leadership, and community outreach.

Woodbury County is lucky to have so many dedicated volunteer fire departments. Here is a chance to help support one of them!

Let the men and women of the Bronson fire department do the breakfast cooking on October 25th! We'll be serving up mouthwatering flapjacks 🥞🥞. It is also the opening day of Iowa pheasant season, so make sure all you hunters stop in and fuel up before you hit the fields chasing those pheasants🔥🔥.
