Thanks to this crew on Thursday morning, we were able to lay down some concrete and fill some campsite sono tubes for new permanent shelters in Fox, Ojibwa and Ottawa campsites.

Have you taken the NEW Safeguarding Youth Training yet?

Make sure you've taken it before Sunday, May 31, 2026, as that is when Youth Protection Training EXPIRES!

Youth Protection Training (YPT) has been replaced by the new Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT). This training is required for all Scouting America registered volunteers and is a joining requirement.

Here are some updates regarding the new training:

➡️ The new 20-minute Safeguarding Youth (SYT) Refresher course is Live.

➡️ If you have not taken the NEW SYT full 90 Minute course, you must take that first before you can take the refresher to get full SYT credit.

➡️ If your SYT is expired for 7 days or more, you must take the full 90 minute course again.

➡️ If you fail the course quiz on the refresher course with less than an 80% on your first attempt, you will be directed back to the full 90 minute course.

➡️ The course is available in the Volunteer Learn Center in English and Spanish.

A grey day on Saturday collecting 500 gallons of sweet sap. Soon to be boiled down into that sweet goodness we call maple syrup.

For the 1st time in a few years, the weather has been great for an ice rink here at Camp. Scouts have been using the ice every weekend, but it would be nice to have more skates for them to use.

If by chance you have an unused pair of hockey skates, we would allow them to have a new life here at Camp. Please consider donating your old hockey skates...

Registration is now open for Maple Syrup Days March 21 or March 28, 2026. This program is for Scout BSA age 11+.

Please note certain programs will book up so do not delay!!

Registration is also open for our Maple Syrup Open House April 11, 2026. The Open House is best suited for Cub Scout and Webelos age youth and their families.

The Maple Syrup Open House is also open to the general Public.
