🧹 A family tradition, a creative spirit, and beautiful handmade work!

Join us at the Arkansas Craft School during Bean Fest on Saturday, October 23-24, for a pop-up shop featuring River Lovenstein of Grassy Creek Brooms!

River began exploring broommaking as a child in his grandparents Jerry and Judy Lovenstein’s shop. Today, he carries that tradition forward, creating handmade brooms inspired by their work and the Shaker tradition. He also creates glass beads, a craft he studied during a three-year apprenticeship with Tom and Sage Holland.

Stop by to meet River, shop his handmade brooms and glass beads, and take home a little Ozark artistry!

A little glass, a little creativity, and some beautiful fall pumpkins!

Last Friday and Saturday, our stained glass students learned to cut and grind glass, apply copper foil, and solder their very own pumpkin suncatchers. Everyone left with a beautiful finished piece, ready to bring a touch of fall to their windows!

We loved seeing their creations come together. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a fun day of learning and making at Arkansas Craft School!

From the stage to the pottery table!

While visiting Mountain View and performing at area schools, TheatreSquared’s “All Greek to Me” touring group joined us at Arkansas Craft School for a hand-building pottery class before heading home.

What a fun, creative group! We loved giving these performers a chance to try a different art form after sharing their own talents with local students. We’re so glad we could be part of their Mountain View experience!

Thank you for spending a little of your time with us and for bringing theatre to our community!
