Mountain View Lodge #244 is starting a new board game night series on 3rd Fridays of the month, following in the footsteps of True Fellowship #52 in San Jose. It will start at 7:30pm and run until around 10:30, though if we have to go longer to finish up a game that's perfectly fine. Eventually, when we have more people able to host who are comfortable teaching games, the hours may extend and/or start earlier. But for the time being, we are thrilled just to start a fun new activity that's open to the district!
Our first board game night is on Friday, March 21, 2025. We want new players to feel welcome, so if you're willing to bring a game you are comfortable teaching, that would be wonderful! We will of course provide our own games and people to teach them, but more teachers means more games can run concurrently. If you've been to the Mountain View Lodge on 823 Villa Street, you'll know that our main room is a bit on the smaller side, but we could comfortably seat up to four groups, maybe five. No matter how many guests we receive, though, if they're sitting together enjoying friendly competition and conversation at the game table, we'll know we're doing something right.

If you end up coming early, there's a huge variety of restaurants in and around Castro Street to dine in or have a snack while waiting for us to open up.
