Last month, Troop 80 scouts completed a 61-mile backpacking trip through John Muir Wilderness and Kings Canyon National Park. 4 passes, 1 peak (Mt Goddard is 13,564 ft), including 5 miles of cross-country travel.

Troop 80 scouts helped honor fallen warriors at Golden Gate National Cemetery.

The Scouts placed flags at the grave sites of service members at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, a national tradition going back 75 years.

Last month, Troop 80 spent a week climbing, rappelling and hiking at Joshua Tree National Park! Amazing flowers, great weather and memorable fellowship.

Last weekend, Troop 80 went snow camping at Pinecrest. The scouts built and slept in snow caves, made hot meals and enjoyed great campfires. We're blessed with great snow this year! Come visit us to learn more! [email protected]

Last Sunday, Troop 80 biked 30 miles across the Golden Gate Bridge to Larkspur and back. A beautiful way to experience the great outdoors and the fall weather!

PACSKY CAMP OLJATO IN PATH OF CREEK FIRE (MAMMOTH)
Until 2012, every summer Troop 80 went to Camp Oljato, which is run by Pacific Skyline Council. Today it is in the path of a major fire. Camp Oljato is located on the southeast end of Huntington Lake. The fire has reach the northeastern tip of Huntington Lake. Although summer camp was canceled this year, let's hope the Great Scoutmaster of all Scouts will keep this fire from this Boy Scout jewel.
