The Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival is so much more than a wine event. Over three fantastic days, it brings together a truly special community and celebrates our shared love for Anderson Valley, Pinot Noir, sparkling wine, and, most importantly, one another.

One of the most special moments of Pinot Fest weekend was the Founding Wineries Historical Discussion & Library Tasting at the Anderson Valley Historical Museum.

Moderated by Allan Green, co-founder of Greenwood Ridge Vineyards, guests enjoyed a casual and heartfelt conversation about the early days of Anderson Valley wine. From pioneering vineyards and homemade experiments to the community that shaped our appellation.

Then came the wines. ✨

Guests had the rare opportunity to taste library selections from Lazy Creek Vineyards, Husch Vineyards, Navarro Vineyards, Greenwood Ridge Vineyards, and Elke Vineyards, living pieces of Anderson Valley history, each bottle telling its own story of time and place.

A huge thank you to our founding winery representatives and everyone who joined us for this special event.

Anderson Valley still holds immense value for visitors 💛

People began treating wine tastings like Costco on a Saturday afternoon—show up, sample everything, buy nothing, and move on. Wineries, understandably, took notice—and responded by turning the tasting room into an exclusive, invitation-only house party with a much steeper cover charge.
