Please join us in a very warm welcome to a woman we have known and loved for a long time who has taken a big step and joined us here at the Mountain View Public Safety Foundation!

Katherine Comesana is a retired Police Officer with 17 years of dedicated service to the City of Mountain View.

Throughout her law enforcement career, she developed extensive expertise in public safety, patrol operations, surveillance, rapid emergency response and volunteering within
the community.

Particularly during her time with the Mountain View Police Department, Katherine was particularly known for her dedication to serving Mountain View students, becoming a mentor to many who have maintained strong bonds with her long after they have grown and graduated.

Following her retirement, Katherine transitioned into the private security sector, where she continues to apply her skills to
protect high-net-worth clients and corporate personnel. She is recognized for her strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex security situations with professionalism and discretion.

We are so excited to have her be a part of our team, and her knowledge and legacy within Mountain View will no doubt contribute to incredible progress here at MVPSF.

Kickin’ it with the kids for Mountain View Police Activities League (MVPAL)’s inaugural Kickball Tournament with middle schoolers!

So much fun soaking up the sun and support between mentors and students. Graham Middle School took home bragging rights this year but EVERYONE is bragging about how much fun they had!

Here’s to a wholesome halfway through the week post to shine a light on just how much good these programs do for all our youngest Mountain View residents 🏆❤️

Some gave all.

Today, we are reminded of the immeasurable sacrifice of women and men who gave everything so that we may live free.

Do not forget them.

Remember them.

Honor them.

100% of your donations through the remainder of the month will help us achieve this for our police officers, our firefighters, our paramedics and other first responders.

Every year, we honor and remember.

The unimaginable sacrifice that so many have made so that we may stay safe.

And every day, we are grateful for the men and women who put on the uniform and respond to cries for help.

To all those who serve as peace officers in our community and beyond, thank you for what you do.

Connection and a commitment to the future of Mountain View for more than 20 years in a row.

Our annual softball game between Alta Vista High School and Mountain View Police Activities League (MVPAL) and Mountain View Police Department was a blast (per usual) and we cannot stress how important it is that these moments continue. Thank you to all who showed up and SHOWED UP for our kids!

Tell us you had a blast without telling us you had a blast.

We'll go first.

Every year, we come together to celebrate the Mountain View community, the impact of incredible people on those they serve, and to raise awareness and hope for some amazing programs.

It has been six months since our Gala, and we're already looking forward to what comes next. Stay tuned for some amazing updates and as always, thank you for supporting all who call Mountain View home.
