348 Children. One School. A Future Worth Rebuilding.

For 348 deaf and speech-impaired children in Sudan, Al-Amal Institute was more than a school. It was a place to learn, communicate, build friendships, and dream of a brighter future.

Then war changed everything.

Classrooms were destroyed. Specialized learning spaces were lost. And hundreds of children were left without the school that once opened doors to education and opportunity.

But while the buildings were destroyed, their dreams remained alive.

Today, Sadagaat is working to rebuild Al-Amal Institute, restoring nine classrooms, specialized learning facilities, and a safe, accessible environment where these children can learn, grow, and thrive.

348 children are waiting. Together, we can bring them back to school.

When the crisis forced children across Sudan out of their classrooms, learning could not stop.

Through Sadagaat’s E-Learning Program, children were given access to digital learning, helping them continue their education despite displacement and school closures.

But e-learning was never meant to be the final destination.

Now, we’re taking the next step: bridging children from e-learning back into formal education.

For families facing difficult circumstances, these baskets provided essential food supplies and helped ease the pressure of meeting daily needs.
