A buzzing week at JIT! 🎉

Our Founder & Executive Director, Br. Manzoor Ghori, spent several days at Jahangirabad Institute of Technology (JIT), Barabanki — connecting with students, faculty, and leadership, and seeing firsthand the growth happening across campus.

From welcoming new students and visiting academic facilities, to the White Coat Ceremony for pharmacy students marking the start of their professional journey — it was a week full of milestones.

JIT also hosted a special AI seminar led by Mr. Syed Shafath (Apple, Adobe, Microsoft, Barnes & Noble, ServiceNow) — giving students a chance to engage directly with a seasoned industry leader.

And beyond the classroom? Cricket matches, a Food Fest, theatre, art competitions, debates, and the grand cultural evening "Jashn-e-JIT" — the energy and talent of the JIT community on full display. 🎊

JazakAllah Khayr to our donors and supporters — your generosity makes experiences like these possible for JIT students. 🤲

Let's take you inside one of the schools we support, the Islamic Nursery & Primary School in Aligarh (U.P.) that's been running since 1971.

527 children study here. Many are orphans. Many more come from families that simply couldn't afford school otherwise.

Tuition. Books. Uniforms. Exam fees. The small things that add up to a child staying in school instead of dropping out.

What happens when one opportunity becomes an opportunity for an entire community?

Meet Amir Sidik — a 2019 JIT graduate from a rural, underserved community in Manipur. JIT gave him a shot at higher education. He took that opportunity home.

Amir founded Iqra Foundation, a school now serving around 150 students through 5th grade — many of whom couldn't otherwise afford an education.

When the school needed rebuilding, IMRC provided $10,000 in support, Alhamdulillah. Amir didn't stop at walls — he added robotics and astronomy equipment. His students now study the stars through a telescope. 🔭

And here's the part that stays with us: once his school becomes financially sustainable, Amir hopes to give back to the IMRC Zakat Fund himself.

From Zakat recipient to future Zakat giver. One student. One opportunity. A whole new generation of possibilities, in sha Allah.

This is what your Zakat & Sadaqah can do when it reaches the right hands.

Give Zakat. Give Sadaqah. Help create the next changemaker. 🔗imrcusa.org
