The Mission of the Mountain Lake Park Tennis Club (MLPTC) is to provide a high quality tennis venue and experience for the residents of Garrett County and visitors to the Deep Creek Lake region. In order to carry out this mission, MLPTC will:
* Deve

lop and maintain tennis courts, facilities and grounds that set a standard of excellence in Western Maryland *
* Sponsor tournaments and events that promote and encourage participation in tennis by all age groups *
* Work with local government and the private sector to build a resource base that will enable MLPTC to enhance and sustain its heritage as one of the state's landmark tennis facilities; and in partnership with local schools, to create activities and programs that will encourage the development of the next generation of tennis players. *
