Minnesota Iron Range Retriever Club

Minnesota Iron Range Retriever Club The Minnesota Iron Range Retriever Club was formed in 1951 by a group of hunting dog owners. Annual dues are $60.

The primary focus of the club still is, as it has been for over sixty years, to improve the performance of retrievers in the field and educate the public about wildlife conservation through the use of trained hunting dogs. A substantial majority of the club members are waterfowl and upland game hunters, and much of the club’s retriever training program is directed toward hunting dogs. Club trainin

g nights are held every Tuesday night from May 6 through August 19 with club members assisting retriever owners in training their dogs. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month from December to September. Membership in the MIRRC is open to all outdoor sports enthusiasts and hunting dog owners. Membership forms can be obtaining by writing to Minnesota Iron Range Retriever Club, P.O. Box 661, Virginia, MN 55792, calling 218-741-8645, or e-mailing [email protected].
