The Kent Rhoads Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established to address the rising costs of meditation retreats, practice periods, and sesshins, which can exclude practitioners of modest financial means from participation. Our mission is to provide financial assistance to meditation practitioners by offering grants to qualified non-profit practice centers, enabling broader access to these transformative experiences.

A healthcare and nonprofit leader, Tori has worked extensively in development, external affairs, and strategic planning. She previously served as Senior Director at Axis Community Health and now leads Stay at Home Care Oakland while advising mission‑driven organizations on access and compliance.
