Meet the Team: Introducing our new North Central Chapter Local Coordinator Nick Ketterman and his family! Please join us in welcoming the Ketterman family to CEF of Arkansas.
Although new to CEF, Nick has been active in ministry to children and youth since he began following Jesus at the age of 18, serving the Lord in church settings, in group home settings, in low-income apartments, in collegiate ministry, and in juvenile detention centers. Most recently he has been doing mission work on staff with Youth For Christ. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Courtney, since 2014 and the couple has four children: Faith (9) Everest (8 ), Justice (4), and Shepherd (1). Originally from Southwest Missouri, the Kettermans have been living in Central Florida for the last three years. Nick shared, “Through the Lord’s leading I feel like he has allowed me to live closer to my family again, as I begin this new mission with CEF in North Central Arkansas.” When asked about his favorite part of CEF so far, he replied, “My favorite part so far is that my family gets to be directly involved in the ministry with me. It brings me no greater joy than to have them serving alongside me.”
Nick shared these prayer requests: “On the ministry side, you can pray that many healthy partnerships with churches and with schools and daycares will begin to take root. You can also pray that I will learn the new job quickly and have great discernment on the best use of my time. On a personal note, you can pray that our house in Florida will sell quickly and that the Lord will lead us to the right church family for us.”
