🌈✨ THURSDAY IS ALMOST OVER… AND THAT MEANS THERE’S JUST ONE DAY UNTIL AUDITIONS! ✨🌈

The countdown is officially ON! Tomorrow is our final day before we begin the journey down the Yellow Brick Road to auditions for Twin Lakes Playhouse’s The Wizard of Oz!

🎭 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

🌟 KIDS — AGES 5–15
Auditions begin at 10:00 AM

No special song to prepare! Kids will sing “Happy Birthday” together in groups, participate in group readings, and learn some fun, light choreography.

🌟 ADULTS — AGES 16+
Saturday, September 5 | 1:00–4:00 PM
Sunday, September 6 | 6:00–8:00 PM

Those auditioning for a singing role should prepare a 30-second to 1-minute song of their choice. Please do not sing from The Wizard of Oz. You may sing a ca****la, bring sheet music for accompaniment, or use a music track.

Non-singing roles are available, too!

We’re looking for Dorothy, Glinda, the Wicked Witch, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, the Wizard, Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, Munchkins, Flying Monkeys, Ozians, Winkies, Crows, Trees and so many more!

🎬 MGM Film Crew/Stage Crew opportunities are also available for ages 12+!

🚪 Doors open ONE HOUR before each audition. Please arrive early to complete paperwork and pick up audition material. Auditions will begin promptly at the scheduled time.

☕ Refreshments will be served!

Rehearsals don’t begin until November, and we’ll avoid the major holidays so everyone can enjoy time with family.

Whether you’re dreaming of stepping into the shoes of Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Glinda, the Wicked Witch, the Wizard—or joining the colorful ensemble of Ozians, Winkies, Flying Monkeys and other unforgettable residents of Oz—we want to see YOU!

Calling all Munchkins, Flying Monkeys, Ozians, Winkies, and young performers ready to take a trip somewhere over the rainbow!

Twin Lakes Playhouse is looking for kids ages 5–15 to help bring the magical world of The Wizard of Oz to life on stage!

🍭 March into Munchkinland as a Munchkin!
🐒 Take flight as a Flying Monkey!
🌈 Become one of the colorful citizens of Oz!
💚 Follow the Yellow Brick Road and become part of one of the most beloved stories of all time!

Whether you’ve performed before or this would be your very first time on stage, we want YOU to come join the fun. No experience is necessary!

ALL TRACKS LEAD TO THE FINISH! 🚂✨

And what a journey it has been.

We are incredibly grateful and humbled to announce that our EXTENDED FINAL WEEKEND of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is officially FULL UP!

Every seat. Every performance. Every night and day of our extended run.

When this journey began, we hoped audiences would climb aboard, embrace the mystery, laugh with us, gasp with us, and spend an evening at the theatre. What we could never have fully anticipated was the extraordinary response from this community.

You came. You filled the seats. You told your friends. You shared our posts. You encouraged our cast and crew. You came back and brought others with you. And when we added an extended weekend, you filled that one, too.

For a community theatre, there is simply no greater gift.

Twin Lakes Playhouse exists because of this community—because people believe there is value in gathering together in a darkened theatre and experiencing a story side by side. Every ticket purchased is more than a seat filled. It is support for the arts, encouragement for our volunteers, and a reminder that live theatre continues to have a very special place in the Twin Lakes community.

To everyone who has boarded the Orient Express with us, and to everyone joining us for these final performances: THANK YOU.

Thank you for supporting local theatre. Thank you for supporting the countless volunteer hours that happen behind the curtain.
Thank you for cheering on the people who step onto our stage.
And most of all, thank you for continuing to make Twin Lakes Playhouse YOUR community theatre.

SHERLOCK HOLMES COLLIDES WITH EBENEZER SCROOGE!

What happens when the world’s greatest detective crashes headfirst into one of Christmas’s most unforgettable characters?

You get A SHERLOCK CAROL — a wonderfully clever collision of mystery, Christmas, comedy, and holiday spirit!

The first table read is officially complete, and our cast is already hard at work bringing this wildly fun holiday mash-up to life at Twin Lakes Playhouse.
