Air Force Appreciation Day

What a parade!

On behalf of the Air Force Appreciation Day Parade Committee, I want to sincerely thank everyone who participated in this year’s parade. From our entrants and volunteers to our sponsors, community organizations, military units, families, and spectators, you are what made this year’s parade such a tremendous success!

It takes a lot of people working together to put this event on, and we truly appreciate everyone who took the time to participate, volunteer, support, and celebrate with us. Seeing the streets of Mountain Home filled with our community coming together to honor our military and celebrate 250 years of America was incredibly special.

And, of course, congratulations to this year’s parade award winners!

That’s a wrap on AFAD 2026! 🇺🇸

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers and the City of Mountain Home Idaho staff who help make this event happen year after year.

AFAD is one of Mountain Home’s longest-running tradition, organized by volunteers through the Mountain Home Chamber. We couldn’t do it without our city partners helping us take over Carl Miller Park and the streets of Mountain Home!

One Town, One Team. ❤️💙

2. Snap a selfie, let your tail wag and stop in for a pint in Mountain Home’s first and only local brewery

3. Providing a positive dental experience for all children is this sponsor’s focus. Located by Hacker Middle School, you can schedule your child’s cleaning right after school pick up.

4. Stop in at one of Mountain Home’s best hotels. Locally owned and operated, and the last stop before taking HWY 20 to your next adventure.
