Shout out to Mr. Barry and Mrs. Kim Lillard for hooking our Baxter County 4-Hers up with a perfect camping spot right on the White River! We appreciate you! The kids starting fishing as soon as they arrived and had to be told to quit at 11:30pm. Then they started back fishing at 6am! Our kids are already asking when they can go camping again.

Fun was had by both kids & adults on our 1st annual overnight camp trip! Everyone was asking when we can go again! The kids fished until legit 11:30pm & we’re up to fish again at 6am! They even cleaned & baked (or fried) their own fish. The kids even cooked every meal in Dutch Ovens.

4-Hers learned several things. Many of it was new to them!
🎣Trout fishing, cleaning, & cooking
🕷️Spider hunting
🍞”Outdoor Boys” bread making
🪓Axe throwing
🎯Atlatl throwing
🔥Starting a fire with flint & a knife
🍎Supper Dutch Oven Cooking: pull apart pizza, nachos, apple cobbler, & s’mores dip
🥚Breakfast Dutch Oven Cooking: eggs & hadhbrown casserole (we accidentally ate all the cheese in our nachos at supper)🤭
⛺️Sleeping in a tent👉 many for their first time

We had a great 4-H Float on Buffalo River yesterday! HUGE shoutout to Buffalo River Float Service for helping us get our kayaks & rafts! We appreciate your kindness & working with us! Thanks Marion County AR 4-H for joining us. We love getting all the kids & parents together!
