As we get closer to this year’s Lions Club Annual Auction we recently had the opportunity to drop off a couple of Certificates of Appreciation for support given to last year’s auction.

A big thank you to Restore Sports Medicine and All Pet & Equine Supply for helping make what we do possible. Every donation, every helping hand and every bit of support adds up and allows us to continue serving our community. We truly couldn’t do it without the businesses, organizations and people who continue to stand behind the Mountain Home Lions Club.

A big thank you to the Norfork National Fish Hatchery and Creed for taking the time to give the Mountain Home Lions Club a tour yesterday! It was an awesome first for our COMMUNITY SPEAKER SERIES being on location.

We got a great look at the hatchery, learned a lot about the work being done there and walked away with an even greater appreciation for what we have right here in our own backyard. If you’ve never been out to the Fish Hatchery you really need to make the trip. It’s absolutely worth the visit.

Thank you again Creed for the hospitality and for sharing your time and knowledge with our Lions!

Summer may not be one of the faces you’re used to seeing at Red Star Antiques but she stepped in for her mom, Rebecca, who apparently developed a sudden and severe allergy to being on camera.

Summer helped share a little about why Red Star Antiques and Heritage Soda Company decided to get involved with the Lions Club Annual Auction. Like a lot of people they didn’t realize just how much happens beyond our Wednesday lunches until one of our “younger” Lions stopped by and shared a little more about what it really means to be a Lion.

They supported the auction last year and they’re back again this year with another mixed case of nostalgic pop from Heritage Soda Co.

We appreciate Summer and the whole Red Star/Heritage Soda crew for supporting what we do and helping us continue to serve our community.

Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Service provides a wide range of medical services for the indigent sight and hearing impaired. Each of these services is geared towards curing preventable blindness and hearing loss, and include:
Cataract Surgery
Laser treatments for diabetic retinopathy
Glaucoma treatment
Prosthetic Eyes
Surgery for detached retina
Low vision therapy
Cornea Transplants
Surgery for crossed eyes
Hearing Aids

Auction season is right around the corner.

Before long your Mountain Home Lions will be making our way around town, visiting the businesses and people who help make the Lions Club Auction possible year after year.

Chris and our friends at Carter's Jewel Chest have been longtime supporters of the auction and we appreciate him taking a few minutes to share why they continue to support what we do. We don’t take support like this for granted. It’s businesses like Carter’s and a community that continues to show up that allow us to keep doing what Lions do best.
