Elmore County Youth Baseball

Elmore County Youth Baseball Our league serves Mountain Home, Mountain Home Air Force Base, and Glenns Ferry, and covers about 200 players on 15 teams throughout the county.

ECYB is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization and funding for the league is raised by player fees, sponsorships, and donations. Funds are used for equipment, uniforms, post-season tournaments and league expenses, and are always needed and very welcome. If interested, please contact us. They took home the championship tonight against Kuna and made Mountain Home proud. Check out those rings!!! Congratulations Tigers!!!

Good Afternoon Parents

Your coaches should have reached out to you, if not please let us know. We are short one coach right now for our Minors division (9 & 10 yr olds). If you know anyone or would like to volunteer let us know. Pease download the Sports Engine app, it will be the official way of communicating throughout this season. Practices and games will be inputted as well.

Hello ECYB families!

Coaches have received rosters. We are now working on getting you access to your team app. You will receive instructions in the next few days.
In the meantime, coaches are working out their practice schedules with each other. Practice starts next week. Glove and cleats needed to start.

Save the date - Saturday, March 28th - Opening Day

Schedule TBA - Dorian Studios has received our rosters and is working on their time schedule. Play It Again will be there with a pop-up store full of gear. Concessions, jump house, National Anthem, and BASEBALL!!!

Majors: 1:15

Please ensure your kiddo brings a glove and cleats. We have everything else.

Rookies and Babe Ruth have no assessments.

Elmore County Youth Baseball FAQ

BABE RUTH

DISTRICT 3

REGISTRATION FEES/AGE CUTOFF IS AS OF MAY 1st

Rookies (6-8) $75

Minors (9-10) $100

Majors (11-12) $100

Babe Ruth (13-16) $125

Players will only be moved up upon a coaches request, specifically through assessments.

EQUIPMENT (we supply hat and jersey)

Players are expected to supply their own:

Cleats

Glove

Pants (Gray for games) any color for practice

Encouraged:

Socks & Belt (color TBD by team)

Bats must be USA baseball stamped. Bats are not required. Bats length/weight depends on the player.

Season Dates - March 16th thru May 22nd

Opening Day Ceremony - March 28th

Dorian pictures (team and individual, for purchase)

Play It Again on-site store (purchase gear, pants, socks, swag)

Concessions, anthem, first pitch, and game TBD

Rookies teams are split at registration close. Rookies practice and play at Legacy Park. This level is coach pitch/sling machine.

Minors and Majors teams are chosen at ASSESSMENTS on March 7th time TBD. Players who do not attend assessments will be split amongst the teams. These teams practice/play on the fields along Tiger Alley. These teams do travel to locations such as Glenns Ferry, Rimrock, Kuna, and Boise.

Babe Ruth plays at East Side Park on the JV baseball field. They also travel.

The league is intended to build skill and be competitive. Coaches coordinate practice times

REGISTRATION CLOSES ON WEDNESDAY 2/25 at 10 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Just a reminder, registration is still open and closes last week of February. Once closed we will not accept registrations. We're already at 75 kiddos, so please keep spreading the word. Flyers will be handed out at school beginning this week. Thank you!!!
