Join us on Thursday, July 10 at the Tyler Bend Pavilion to kick off our second river clean-up of the year! The Middle River cleanup will target the 5.5 mile stretch from Tyler Bend to Gilbert.

Our friends at Buffalo River Outfitters will provide a limited number of canoes, and those will be allotted to the first people who sign up. You may also bring your own canoe or kayak! Please bring your own lunch, drinks, and whatever tools you think we might need! Shovels, grabbers, and loppers are always handy. We will provide trash bags, gloves, and some snacks.

Please sign up here to register for this cleanup. https://bnrpartners.org/sign-ups Please let us know in the description the following information .

- Will you be bringing your own canoe?

- Do you have a floating partner to share your boat with? If so, please include their name.

We will be in contact with you about the details closer to the date, including any updates regarding inclement weather. See you on the river!

Your safety is always our priority, and the conditions are not favorable for a safe float at this time. Thank you for making plans to participate. We hope to reschedule at a later date.

Happy World Bee Day!

They may be small but bees are kind of a big deal; especially here in the Ozarks! From buzzing around native wildflowers to helping pollinate the plants that feed both people and wildlife these tiny workers keep our riverside ecosystems thriving.

Fun fact: One out of every three bites of food you eat exists because of pollinators like bees. That’s a buzz-worthy achievement!

So today, let’s celebrate the bees and the beautiful biodiverse habitats they help support. Including the ones right along the North Fork and White Rivers.

Want to help them out? Plant native wildflowers, skip the pesticides and leave a little wild space for the pollinators to party.
