One of the best parts of wrapping up another year of the Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo is getting to see where all of that support goes once rodeo weekend is over.
This year, we were able to give back to:
• Shop with a Cop
• Elmore County Jr. Rodeo
• Elmore County Domestic Violence Council
• Treasure Valley Leather Slappers
• Rowdy Wranglers 4-H Club
• Wild Vaqueros 4-H Club
• Prime Cuts 4-H Club
• Elmore County Sportsmen
• C.O.P.S.
• Mountain Home Burnout Fund
• Elmore County Search & Rescue
• Four educational scholarships
It’s pretty incredible to look at that list and realize how many different parts of our community we were able to support this year.
Obviously, none of this happens without the people who continue to support this rodeo. Every sponsor who writes a check, every business that donates, every volunteer who gives up their time, and every person who buys a ticket and comes through those gates plays a part in what we're able to do afterward.
The rodeo was created to keep Daniel’s memory alive, and giving back has become a pretty important part of what that looks like for us. We get to support local kids, 4-H and rodeo programs, first responders, families in our community and students working toward their future — all while doing it in Daniel’s name.
We’re really proud of what this rodeo has grown into, and even more proud that the support we receive gets to stay right here and help people and organizations that mean something to our community.
So thank you. Whether you sponsored us, volunteered, competed, attended or helped in one of the hundred little ways it takes to put this rodeo on, you helped make all of this possible. If you made it this far... thank you for taking the time to support us on social media. Every interaction, comment and share helps us continue this legacy.

Military Night is always one of the most meaningful nights of rodeo weekend.
It gives us a chance to recognize and thank the men and women who have served our country, especially those right here in our own community.
We were honored to share the evening with Col Gunter, Col Etue and CMSgt Marquez.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring our service members this year, and most importantly, thank you to those who have worn the uniform. 🇺🇸❤️

When people ask what it takes to put on a rodeo, the short answer is... a whole lot of volunteers.
By the time everyone is finding their seats, there have already been countless hours spent setting panels, hanging signs, getting the arena ready, parking trailers, checking equipment, and taking care of all the little things most people never notice.
That's the part most folks don't get to see.
To everyone who gave up evenings, weekends, and vacation time to help make this year's rodeo happen—thank you. We know how much work goes into it, and we appreciate every single one of you.

The gate is where the excitement begins. It's where old friends reunite, kids race toward the arena, and another year of rodeo memories gets underway.

Every rodeo has someone who represents it with pride, and we couldn't have asked for a better ambassador this year. We are so proud to have as a part of our rodeo family this year.
Whether she was greeting fans, representing the rodeo at events, or helping wherever she was needed, she did an incredible job.
