🎥 Ever wondered what Youth Rising Mountain Home is all about?

Our Program Director Heather shares what makes our Drop-In Center more than just a place to spend time after school.

At Youth Rising, youth ages 11–18 can build friendships, explore activities, connect with supportive peers and adults, and help shape the programs they want to see.

Most importantly, it's a place where young people can be themselves, be heard, and feel like they belong.

📣 Mountain Home Young Adults (18–24), we want your input!

We're looking at offering support with things like resumes, job searches, housing resources, GED guidance, peer support, and connecting with community services right here in Mountain Home.

Right now, we're looking at Mondays from 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM.

⚔️ Junior D&D is back, and the adventure has a new home! 🎲

This summer, Youth Rising Mountain Home's Junior D&D Campaign is meeting at Over the Brook Gaming, thanks to their generosity in hosting our growing group of adventurers.

Whether you're a seasoned hero or rolling your very first character, this is a great chance to build friendships, work as a team, and dive into an unforgettable story together.

🎲 Every Tuesday beginning June 16

Every Friday at Youth Rising Mountain Home, young people have the opportunity to connect, share, and support one another through our Youth Support Group in partnership with the Elmore County Domestic Violence Council.

Today's group was another great reminder of how important it is to have a space where young people can talk, build healthy relationships, and know they're not alone.

The group is open to youth ages 11–17 and meets every Friday at 4:00 PM at The Drop-In. If you're looking for a supportive place to connect with others, we'd love to have you join us.

School may be out, but the Drop-In is just getting started. Summer hours are now in effect at Youth Rising Mountain Home!

We're open Monday through Friday from 1PM–5PM for youth ages 11–18, with free games, activities, art, snacks, friends, and a safe place to spend the afternoon.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by yesterday’s fire in Mountain Home.

We’re thinking of the families who were displaced, the community members affected, and all of the first responders who help keep people safe.

If any young people in our community need a place to come hang out, take a breather, talk to someone, or just not be alone for a while, Youth Rising is here.

One of our amazing community members, Allie Bundy, is organizing a snack drive for Youth Rising Mountain Home 💙

These donations help us keep the Drop-In stocked with snacks for local youth and continue creating a welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support this community continues to show young people in Mountain Home.

Just a quick heads up that our Drop-In will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day!

We’ll be back open on Tuesday during our normal hours and ready for another great week at The Drop-In.

It’s been such a fun week so far at the Drop-In!

From Art Club, to movie night, to games and just hanging out together, it’s been awesome seeing young people make the space their own this summer.

We’re also excited to now be open even later during summer break!

Summer hours for ages 11–18:

The Drop-In is always free to attend and free to register, so come stop by, hang out, and check it out!
