On average, it takes a woman about SEVEN(7) times to leave an abusive relationship for good. Not because she is weak. Because abuse is complicated. Because fear, trauma, love, survival, finances, children, manipulation, and hope can keep someone tied to the very thing hurting them.
So if she goes back, do not shame her.🌸🚫
Love her anyway.🩷
Support her anyway.🫶🏼
Remind her who she is anyway.✨
And when she finally gets out for good, there is a kind of peace waiting for her that she may not even believe exists yet. A life where she no longer has to walk on eggshells. A life where laughter comes easier, sleep feels safer, and love no longer hurts.☀️
Freedom may take time.
Healing may take time.
But one day she will look around and realize,

🚨 SAFE HOUSING HOSTS NEEDED 🚨

Southern Missouri Advocates is seeking compassionate individuals, families, and churches willing to provide short-term safe housing for women and children escaping domestic violence in Ozark, Douglas, Texas, and Wright Counties.

A spare room could become a lifeline for someone in crisis. Training, support, and coordination are provided.
Together, we can give survivors safety, hope, and time to heal.

Please share to help us reach compassionate families, churches, and individuals willing to open their hearts and homes. 💕

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Big Boy Men's Ministry for providing us with a booth to support Southern Missouri Advocates and the women and children we serve.
Last night’s concert at the Mountain Grove YMCA was incredibly inspiring and such a beautiful reminder of what God can do when people come together with servant hearts and a shared purpose. We are so grateful for the encouragement, support, and kindness shown throughout the evening.
It was an honor to be part of something so faith-led and uplifting while continuing to raise awareness and support for women and children in our community.✨❤️‍🔥☺️

YOU DON’T LOOK LIKE WHAT YOU’VE BEEN THROUGH and that’s the problem.
They don’t understand how you’re still standing.
They don’t get why you still have joy.
They don’t see how you keep praying after what you survived.
They can’t figure out how you didn’t lose your mind.
But what they don’t know is…
You cried yourself to sleep.
You questioned your calling.
You walked through fire and kept walking.
You lost people you thought you’d die without.
You warred in silence.
You battled hell in your own mind.
You grieved for your children and yourself.
And now?
You laugh LOUDER.
You worship HARDER.
You pray HOTTER.
You speak BOLDER.
You walk in authority that came from surviving what should’ve taken you OUT.
Let them wonder.
Let them whisper.
You’re not here to explain; you’re here to EXPOSE DARKNESS AND BRING LIGHT. ✨❤️‍🔥
