Concrete on king road box culvert is completely finished . It has to cure at the request of the contractors till the nineteenth and then it will be open .

Cookie and I went down and looked at the progress on the box culvert on king road. It is coming along good. Here are a couple photos on the progress . The hopes are that it carries enough water we will not have to worry about it flooding or washing the sides out . One thing is for sure.I don't think it will move .

We have had more .....ROAD CLOSED....signs stolen. This makes the fifth one
On the jobs we are doing for the township . These signs are around two hundred dollars or more apiece.That is a thousand dollars out of clinton township, tax money . There was one at dunn across the railroad tracks, and one at the end of king road that have been stolen in the last couple of weeks . The one at dunn on the start of king road was stolen last night february 24th . The township cannot afford to replace these signs.So there will be none put up other than what is up there that they put together today . If someone knows anything or will return them to the township shed.No questions will be asked, but there will be a police report done.If not returned . Charges will be filed on the individual or individuals that is caught with these signs if not return .

Well, they got the box culvert tore out today.And I believe it is almost ready to start forming up the new one .

King road will be closed starting february 12th for approximately 3 to 4 weeks this will depend on whether and availability of the crew putting in the new box culvert . The box culvert is located at the end of Barth Lippert property at the bottom of the steep hill going south . All necessary entities have been notified . Please be patient as Clinton Township board is trying to better our township .

As of right now, the plans to open the slab on little creek road will be monday February 9th. From there, they will move to king road to replace the box culvert. King road will be closed for approximately 3 to 4 weeks, this will depend on whether as well as the crew's availability .

Many people know the corner at horse shoe Ben has been worse out. We have put larg concrete blocks there twice To keep people from running off the corner. And twice they have been pushed over the hill. We.
Are putting these there for people's safety, so please.
If you have any information on who is doing this? Call the texas county sheriff or one of the board members and let them know. A report has been made.
And charges will be filed. Again, this is a safety hazard that we are trying to fix. But for temporary Purposes we have to put blocks up. So please whoever is doing this stop.

Pleasant hill road will be opening soon. We are letting the bridge cure. Hopefully it will be open by the 15th of this month. The new bridge is twenty two foot wide about eighty foot long. It.
Should be there as long And we are around. We'.
Will have to completely rock the road and tried to get it fully accessible.

Being on the roadboard is quite a challenge. As far as roadboard goes. We are in touch with the schools the Post Office as well as EMT's And any other enforcement office. That is part of our job To let them know if a road is closed for impassable.
We know all the roads are rough But believe me We are trying to get everything repaired to the best of our ability so people can get out. I have a couple of pictures that I will put on and we have about 40 places like this in the township. We had one grader go down and the other 1 is working daily trying to get them repaired. He had been on king road trying to get most of the worst spots fixed. The South end was almost impassable. We have at least 4 bridges completely washed out As well as numerous covers washed out of the road. So please Be patient as you know we have 74 miles of road to get Uber. And we have had to do it every week for the last 3 months because of all the rain. Seems like we can not get it completely done till we get another downpour and have to start all over again. So if your road is a little rough You will just have to be patient until we can get everything fixed.
