The Drage Second Chance Ranch Christmas Show was yesterday—and WOW, what an event 🎄✨
Over 50 students performed incredible horseback routines across two shows, and the theatrics this year were absolutely on point.

It’s so fun to watch these kids get creative and proudly show off the horsemanship skills they’ve earned all year long.

We also raised over $3,000 to support our horses and students for the 2026 winter season. Thank you to everyone who made this possible—and Merry Christmas! ❤️🐴🎄

Join us for the Drage Second Chance Ranch Annual Christmas Show this Saturday, December 20th at the Scotsman Center!

Our riders—of all ages and levels—will be performing festive routines in two unique shows: 12–2 PM and 3–5 PM. We’ll also be hosting a silent auction with over 20 amazing baskets, perfect for getting your Christmas shopping done at a great price - let's be real, we all need that this year.

🎄 Silent Auction Donations Needed 🎄

Winter can be a long, cold, and quiet season—especially for kids who don’t always have access to activities or enrichment once school lets out. At Drage Second Chance Ranch, our silent auction helps us do two really important things:

🐴 Keep hay in front of our horses all winter long
🤍 Sponsor low-income youth in riding lessons, giving them a safe, meaningful place to be during the winter months

We’re currently looking for donations of items or themed baskets for our annual Christmas Show silent auction. Every donated item helps us turn generosity into opportunity—for both horses and kids.

Visit the Smokin’ Boxcar on Commercial Street, grab yourself some fantastic barbecue and admire the Second Chance Ranch 2025 Festival of Trees Christmas Tree! The theme we chose this year was “Every Day Magic” and we decorated a Unicorn Candy Land themed tree.

Frankly, it was a bit of a disaster to get out together and required 3 trees, lots of sweat, snow flocking everywhere, and multiple trips to Lowes by PhyllisWolfe - but the end result was worth it ❤️🎄

This Friday, Halloween, in lieu of lessons we will hold pony rides (FREE) at the Ford Trunk or Treat in Morgan from 2:30-4:30pm! We are excited to see you and your costumes, the horses will be dressed up too!!!

These two outlaws gave law enforcement a run for their money last night and this morning and are currently hanging out at the Ranch. If you’ve lost a horse, hit us up with proof of ownership. They’re happily pigging out on hay and running with the herd.
