The Long Journey Home Musical Heritage Tour this Saturday features the Junior Appalachian Musicians, Kenny Price and Jerry Moses at the Fred Price Homeplace at 12:30pm. And at 7pm John McCutcheon will perform at Heritage Hall Theatre. Pick up an event map at the Gallery on Main or the Johnson County Welcome Center & Museum.

Don't miss this year's Sunday Singin' at Heritage Hall at 2pm on August 31. Four string bands will be singing old time mountain gospel. It's free with open seating.

This Friday night make plans to come enjoy good music, good food and great friends at Buskin' on Main Street, part of your Long Journey Home weekend. Local's Deli and Misu B's will be open late. Fuego Taquito and Uncle Himm's Barbeque will be there, and more than 20 bands will perform. And if you love classic cars, you won't want to miss the Cruise-In on the West Side of Main Street. Come see us in Mountain City, Tennessee this Labor Day weekend as we celebrate 100 years of Mountain Music!

The fun starts on Friday night with Buskin' on Main Street.

Then Saturday brings the Musical Heritage Tour with our Junior Appalachian Musicians, Kenny Price and Jerry Moses performing at the Fred Price Homeplace. Saturday evening, John McCutcheon will perform at Heritage Hall Theater.

The weekend closes with a traditional Sunday Singin'. We hope to see you there!
