Friday and Saturday ONLY at 7pm!
You have 2 more chances to see "One Stoplight Town" at Heritage Hall Theater. So, in the words of our Tom, "get off your soap box" and come see the show!

Every small town is full of beautiful yet quirky characters. A store owner who can't seem to get in a good mood, a Green Bean Queen that finds she doesn't have everything figured out, one person trying to run away as quickly as possible as someone else decides to return home. And let's not forget those who just enjoy sitting back, watching and sticking their two cents in whether it is welcomed or not! Join in the fun with our characters as they navigate the years and the changes that time brings.
Tickets available in advance at Johnson County Center for the Arts, Nalley's Shirt Shop and online at www.heritagehalltheatre.org

OPENING NIGHT TONIGHT!!
"One Stoplight Town"

Join us tonight as we open our show! Tickets are no longer available online for tonight but you can purchase them at the door.
This show is about community - as we work together, play together and maybe even annoy each other a little. Time passes, kids grow up, some leave and others stay. Life is what we make of it. Come join the fun!

Meet our Directors "One Stoplight Town"

Debbie Watts and Justine Dunn

Debbie and Justine have had the best time directing "One Stoplight Town" together! They both thought this story reminded them of home, here in Mountain City. Debbie and Justine are on the Board of Directors for Johnson County Community Theatre.

Justine has graced the stage since she was a child. More recent appearances include Annie Sullivan in "The Miracle Worker" and a different role of Annie in "The Play That Goes Wrong". This is her first show to direct!

Debbie prefers being backstage with productions. Whether she is directing, choreographing or just helping, she loves the artistic process of making a show come to life on stage. She has directed "Anne of Green Gables", The Miracle Worker", and "The Play That Goes Wrong". She adapted for stage and directed "The Bishop's Wife".

Please join Debbie and Justine as they present "One Stoplight Town" at Heritage Hall Theatre, July 17,18,19,24 and 25.
Tickets available at the Johnson County Center for the Arts, Nalley's Shirt Shop, online at www.heritagehalltheatre.org and at the door.

Meet the Crew of "One Stoplight Town"

A show will not go on without it's amazing crew!
Bridgette Berger takes it all on backstage - every prop, every prompt, every crazy thing we throw at her (even cheeseburgers)!
Karla Prudhomme has been such an asset overseeing all cast microphones and handling all the chaos!
Bob Morrison is our resident sound engineer. With years of experience, he tackles all of our technical needs from the sound booth. What people don't see is the hours he spends running cables and figuring out how to give the directors exactly what they envision.
Levi McDaniel is on lights for this production. This is his first show and has learned so much under Bob's training. He makes the stage shine!
Molly Lipford is our backstage runner. She has the incredible job of making sure everyone makes it to the stage on time. She has lots of energy, which is needed to run up and down the backstage stairs all night!
All of our crew are volunteers. We honestly couldn't do it without them. If you happen to see them, let them know you appreciate them as much as we do. After all, there would be nothing to see or hear if the stage was dark and the mics weren't turned on, props weren't to be found and the stage had no set and no actors appeared.

"One Stoplight Town" opens tomorrow night, 7pm, at Heritage Hall. Our cast is full of local children, teens and adults who have worked so hard to bring the story of such a small town to life. Fun bit of info: In Act 1, you will see a group of children playing the way we all did before electronics took over. In Act 2, you will see that they have grow into teenagers. Like back in the days when neighbors looked out for all the children, our town handyman, Tom, guides them and looks out for them.

Tickets available at Johnson County Center for the Arts, Nalley's Shirt Shop and online at www.heritagehalltheatre.org
