Chuck is the author of The Isolate, which tells the fascinating story of one of the Watauga Valley’s most well-known and mysterious residents — Nick Grindstaff. During the event, he will present a special Author Talk & Book Signing, and share the history and legend behind this remarkable Appalachian story.
