SNIP (Spay/Neuter Incentive Program) Our donation-funded spay/neuter program for residents of Johnson County. Call (423) 727-9286. MCSNAP (Mountain City Spay/Neuter Assistance Program) — A donation-funded program to help Mountain City Animal Control get animals taken in from Johnson County vetted and ready for relocation to a rescue or for adoption. The program pays the veterinary costs of spay/neuter surgery and rabies vaccinations for both dogs and cats, and the 5-way vaccination for dogs and the 4-way vaccination for cats. With no official animal control for Johnson County, Mountain City Animal Control is often called in to help with county animal situations. City animals have priority. Can Recycling Program — We have recycling containers set up in front of Food Country and Food Lion for ALUMINUM only. Money generated from the recycling program goes into our general fund.
