I just interviewed for the job of MISS TENNESSEE!👑✨

I had the opportunity to share my story, my heart, and who DeAnna Greer truly is! I walked out of the interview room with complete peace knowing I left it all on the table. No matter the outcome, I give all the glory to God for allowing me to shine his light through me.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible for being such an amazing friend, mentor, and coach!🫶🏼

Day 1 at Miss Tennessee!✨

Thank you to the Charlotte Tilbury team for hosting an incredible makeup masterclass! As someone who absolutely loves this brand, the experience truly felt like a dream come true. Following the masterclass, we had the opportunity to participate in an autograph signing and we’re so grateful to the Mall at Green Hills for allowing us to host such a special event. To round out this busy day, we had the first of many rehearsals ahead. The excitement for this week continues to grow!🤩

Today, I’m heading to Nashville to compete for the prestigious title of Miss Tennessee 2026. This video was captured moments after I was crowned Miss Smoky Mountains and as I reflect on that moment, one word comes to mind: humility. Serving my community this year has been one of the greatest blessings of my life and I’m grateful that God entrusted me with this opportunity!

Thank you to everyone who has sent prayers, encouragement, and support along the way. Your kindness means more than you know!

Crown or no crown, I’ll always carry my favorite Bible verse close to my heart Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” I’m walking into this week with faith, graditude, and excitement!🥰

Miss Tennessee Social Media Challenge Day 7: Scholarship Sunday! 🎓✨

As a proud graduate of Tennessee College of Applied Technology, I was honored to be the youngest female in my cosmetology department to graduate. Earning my Tennessee State Cosmetology License at just 19 years old taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and lifelong learning.

My education has provided the foundation for me to pursue my passion in the beauty industry, build my business, DMG Beauty Bliss, and serve others with confidence. Looking ahead, one of my greatest goals is to expand DMG Beauty Bliss into an innovative nationwide signature makeup line that empowers women to feel confident, beautiful, and authentically themselves!💄💋

The Miss America Opportunity celebrates the power of scholarship and I’m grateful for the doors education has opened in my life and the opportunities it continues to provide. I’m proud to represent the value of education both on and off the Miss Tennessee stage!

Miss Tennessee Social Media Challenge Day 6: Supporter Saturday!♥️

No titleholder reaches the stage alone. As I head to Nashville, I carry the love, support, and encouragement of so many incredible people with me. THANK YOU for believing in my dreams and being part of this journey!

To my mom, I am who I am because of you. Thank you for every late night drive, early morning appearance, and endless sacrifice. I love you more than words could ever express!

To my family, friends, mentors, sponsors, volunteers, coworkers, and directors—thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support. You have helped shape not only my year as Miss Smoky Mountains, but the woman I am today.

Through my nonprofit organization S.T.O.P and Serve: Serving to Teach Others Passion, I’ve been blessed to serve communities across Tennessee and none of it would be possible without my incredible partnerships. Whether you volunteered, attended an event, or supported me from afar, thank you.

Most importantly, I thank God for guiding every step of this journey. If there’s one thing I want to be known for, it’s how I choose faith over fear. Through every challenge and victory, I carry my favorite bible verse close to my heart - Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Let’s do this thing Team Smoky Mountains! ✨👑

Miss Tennessee Social Media Challenge Day 5: Fashion Friday! My favorite fashion tip is to wear something that makes you feel confident and authentically yourself! Style is one of the four points of the Miss America crown, and I embrace it through my own unique love of leopard print. Whether it’s a dress, shoes, or an accessory, I express my personality, confidence, and individuality!✨🐆

Miss Tennessee Social Media Challenge Day 4: Take Action Thursday! For over a decade, I’ve dedicated more than 6,000 hours to community service, recruited over 1,000 volunteers, and created three annual events—Easter Extravaganza, Backpack Blessings, and Christmas Toys and Joys! Easter Extravaganza has distributed more than 1,000 Easter baskets amongst the community and I’ve created a partnership with Doe Valley Farm that helps the outreach for volunteer involvement. Backpack Blessings has provided more than 1,700 backpacks filled with school supplies along with free health screens in coloration with the Tennessee Department of Health. Christmas Toys and Joys has gifted more than 10,000 toys to children during the holiday season. While the numbers are meaningful, the greatest reward has been touching the hearts of children and making a difference in their lives!

My journey began in fourth grade when a 4-H representative walked into my classroom and changed my life forever. I thrived in the 4-H program where I earned a place in the Honor Club. Those experiences sparked a bigger vision and I knew I had a desire to advocate for volunteerism on a larger scale. (What’s a better thing to include than the throwbacks😅)

That vision became reality when I founded S.T.O.P and Serve which stands for Serving to Teach Others Passion. Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege to partner with organizations like the Tennessee Department of Health, Doe Valley Farm, and the A.C.T.I.O.N Coalition, allowing the impact to touch thousands of lives!

Through the Miss America Opportunity, I’ve been given a platform to use my voice and further my advocacy for volunteerism. My core values and goals strongly align with the mission of this organization. Over the past seven years, this journey has helped shape me into the best version of myself!♥️

Miss Tennessee Social Media Challenge Day 3: Wellness Wednesday! Fitness and wellness have been a part of my life since I started clogging at age 7. Through every practice and performance, clogging has taught me discipline, perseverance, confidence, teamwork, and a strong work ethic!

As a proud member of Southern Fire Cloggers, the countless hours of training have strengthened me physically, built mental resilience, and taught me the value of dedication and goal-setting. I’m honored to bring a piece of Appalachian culture to the stage through a blend of traditional and clogging steps!✨

Miss Tennessee Social Media Challenge Day 2: Transformation Tuesday! The Miss America Opportunity has equipped me with skills that have prepared me for every aspect of my future!✨

During my years of serving as a local titleholder, I have grown in confidence, communication, and leadership. As a Tennessee State Licensed Cosmetologist and owner of DMG Beauty Bliss, I have learned the value of customer service, time management, and building meaningful relationships. Working as the Board Operator at WMCT Radio has strengthened my communication skills, adaptability, and ability to perform under pressure. The skills I have developed through the Miss America Opportunity have truly transformed my life in ways I once only dreamed possible. The impact extends far beyond the crown and I’m grateful for everything this program has instilled in me!

Looking back, I see a young woman who once questioned whether she was capable. Today, I see a business owner, a professional, a volunteerism advocate, and a leader who is prepared for whatever opportunities lie ahead!👑
