Summer Camp is in full swing at Leg Up Farm, and campers are enjoying a summer filled with new friendships, exciting experiences, and unforgettable memories.

This year, however, a funder that has traditionally provided camp scholarships for 40 children to attend camp at no cost to their families lost its funding and is no longer able to support these scholarships.

To ensure these campers can continue experiencing the magic of camp, we need to raise $15,000 as soon as possible.

Every gift helps keep camp accessible for children whose families may not otherwise be able to participate. Your support can make all the difference.

Donate today and help keep camp accessible for all: https://bit.ly/SupportLUFSummerCamp

Today, we celebrate diverse minds, unique strengths, and the many ways people experience and engage with the world.

This Autism Pride Day, we honor the talents, perspectives, and experiences of the incredible people we serve and the joy they bring to our farm each day.

At Leg Up Farm, we're proud to walk alongside individuals of all abilities, creating a space where everyone is seen, valued, empowered to thrive, and knows they belong.

Autistic people are an essential part of our communities. They belong in every space and deserve to be heard, valued, and respected.

UCP celebrates the diverse strengths, perspectives, talents, and voices of autistic people. Today is an opportunity to recognize the meaningful contributions they make to our families, schools, workplaces, and communities every day.

By embracing neurodiversity and challenging stigma, we help create a world where everyone can thrive.

Our Horses for Heroes program provides veterans and first responders with a unique path toward healing through Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP).

One U.S. Marine Corps veteran shared:
"EAP helps me relax, reduces stress, and makes me more mindful."

Sometimes the greatest progress comes from slowing down, being present, and building connections, both with ourselves and with our equine partners.

We're honored to walk alongside those who have served our country and communities as they continue their journey toward wellness and resilience.

Every learner in our Horse Powered Reading program is different, just like our horses!

While participants are building literacy skills, they're also developing something just as important: confidence. Through hands-on activities with our equine partners, they learn patience, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and self-esteem in an environment that celebrates growth over perfection.

Horses don't judge how fast you read or how quickly you solve a challenge. They simply respond to authenticity, helping participants build trust in themselves and discover strengths they may not have realized they had.

Because sometimes the most important lessons aren't found in a book, they're found in the connection between a child and a horse.

Some victories can't be measured, they're lived.

A first responder in our Horses for Heroes Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy program shared:

"EAP has helped with fewer crisis days, and I have no more suicidal ideation or desire to self-harm."

Hope. Healing. Connection.

That's the power of horses.
