It’s a HUGE moment for Eastside, and we are celebrating two incredible teams representing our school on the biggest stages!

🏀 8th Grade Boys Basketball
This team is the first middle school boys team to finish undefeated in 6th, 7th, AND 8th grade regular seasons.
🏆 County Champions
🏆 MKAC Champions
🏀 Elite Eight the past two years
And now, they’re headed to the State Tournament, competing against 85 teams across the state.

We loved the chance to spoil our amazing EMS staff today with a small token of our appreciation: an embroidered blanket, popcorn bucket, and snacks to help kick off a well-deserved winter break.

We are so grateful for everything these amazing educators do for our students and school community. Your dedication, care, and hard work do not go unnoticed. We hope you have a restful, joyful winter break and feel just how appreciated you are!

Time: After school until 5:00 PM
Cost: $20 (includes 2 slices of pizza + a drink)
Costumes: Students may wear costumes during the day for $1 (no masks, props, face paint, or revealing attire).
Extras: Extra pizza, candy, pickles, and drinks will be available for purchase.

Tickets must be purchased by October 22, 2025. All sales are final.

Eastside Middle School Baseball is hosting workouts starting next Wednesday, October 1st, at the KSA indoor facility in Mount Washington, behind the sports complex. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are welcome to come to workouts. Players must have a sports physical on file. Workouts will run 3:45-5:15 each Wednesday. Workouts are closed, only to players and coaches.
