💜 LARGE BUSINESS OF THE WEEK | EAG AUTOMOTIVE – MT. PLEASANT 💜

Yesterday we took Business of the Week on the road to Mt. Pleasant to celebrate EAG Mt Pleasant as our Franklin County Chamber of Commerce Large Business of the Week! 🎉🚗

Formerly known to many throughout Northeast Texas through the Elliott Auto Group name, EAG has been part of the Mt. Pleasant business community for decades and continues serving customers throughout our surrounding area! 🙌🏼

Here in Mt. Pleasant, EAG offers a HUGE selection of new & pre-owned vehicles, along with service & parts to keep you on the road. And as you can see, we had absolutely NO trouble finding a few vehicles we wouldn’t mind driving back to Mount Vernon. 👀🤣

What we especially appreciate is EAG’s commitment to the communities they serve. They believe buying a vehicle is about more than a transaction, it’s about building relationships, and we’re excited to have EAG Automotive as a member of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce! 💜

A special thank you to Rob Hedges for helping make the connection & bringing EAG on board as a Chamber Member! 🙌🏼 And a BIG thank you to the EAG team for welcoming us yesterday and taking the time to celebrate with us!

Whether you’re shopping for your next car, truck or SUV, looking for a pre-owned vehicle, or need service & parts, make the short drive over to Mt. Pleasant and visit the team at EAG! 🚙🛻

Congratulations to EAG Automotive – Mt. Pleasant, our Large Business of the Week! 🎉💜

Our annual Franklin County Food Bank Challenge is BACK, and you know what that means… Mount Vernon 💜🤍 vs. Winnsboro ❤️🖤!

But this is one rivalry where EVERYBODY WINS because we’re filling the shelves at Community Food Bank of Franklin County! 🙌🏼❤️

From October 1–22, help us stock the pantry by dropping off non-perishable food items at participating schools, churches, daycares & Brookshire's .

So come on, Mount Vernon… let’s show ’em what our community can do! 💜🤍🐯🙌🏼

🏆 The winner will be announced at halftime of the Tiger vs. Raiders football game!

💜👑 $5,000 FOR PAGEANT SCHOLARSHIPS! 👑💜

For the third year in a row, American Legion 243 has generously donated $5,000 specifically for scholarships to be awarded to contestants in the Miss Mount Vernon Texas Scholarship Pageant!

This week, Post 243 Commander Mark Browning & Stephanie Herrera presented the $5,000 check to the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for scholarships to be awarded during our 58th Annual Miss Mount Vernon Scholarship Pageant on October 10.

We are incredibly grateful for American Legion Post 243’s continued support of this longtime Mount Vernon tradition and, most importantly, their investment in the young ladies who participate. 💜

THANK YOU, American Legion Post 243, for once again making these scholarship opportunities possible! 🇺🇸👑
