NAMI KLCO offers the NAMI signature programs such as FAMILY to FAMILY, NAMI Basics, Family support group, NAMI Connection a (peer support group), NAMI Peer-to-Peer an 8--session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery,, These are all free. NAMI KLCO also facilitates other free non-NAMI workshops and other sp

ecial forums. We have a library of free educational information and fact sheets. We provide speakers to organizations, schools, workplaces, etc., upon request. There is a great need for people to start speaking out about mental illness to rid the discrimination and create an understanding of what mental illness and how it impacts the lives of those living with it. Professionals need to listen. Doctors need to listen. We all need to listen to those voices. Treatment works. There is hope and help.
