Mount Vernon Lions Club The Mount Vernon Lions Club was founded in 1923
The Mount Vernon Lions Club membership has ebbed over the last 100 years. "WE SERVE" And communities get better.

We are committed to growing our membership and continuing our dedication to serving
the Mount Vernon community. Where There's a NEED, There's a LION

Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. That's because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy. The World's Largest Service Club Organization

Our 46,000 clubs and 1.4+ million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat, and with people we may never meet.

On this Labor Day, the Mount Vernon Lions Club celebrates the hard work, dedication, and contributions of workers across all industries. Today, we recognize the strength, perseverance, and resilience of those who help build and sustain our communities.

Labor Day is a time to honor the progress made in the fight for fair labor practices and workers' rights. It’s also a reminder of the value of teamwork and the collective effort required to achieve success.

We extend our gratitude to the workers who have shaped this nation and continue to drive our progress forward. May this day be filled with rest, reflection, and appreciation for all that has been achieved through hard work.

Happy Labor Day from all of us at

Mount Vernon Lions Club!!!

Sincerely, Juan Oscar Brizuela, MVLC President🙏🦁
